Handmade cards from the heart!
One year, I made a lot of hats for people at the homeless shelter that I work at. They loved them. It is just a thought of something that you might like to do. Not sure where you live but if it is anywhere that it gets cold. You might want to consider it. You can also make Chemo hats for people with cancer. They are beautiful for women if you use a strand of heavy yarn with eyelash yarn. You get a beautiful fuzz. I did hats for my grand daughters one year for xmas. I used two strands of eyelash yarn for the part you fold up, and regular yarn doubled for the rest of the hat. They had fun fur around the edges. I then did the same for mittens to match, however I had knitted them by hand with double pointed needles. Provo craft does have patterns of other things that you can make and you should check out the web site. I was never able to master the mittens as they seemed too bulky, but then, I have been a hand and machine knitter for years.Happy craftingMarlene Schanke
